Jamie

Jamie was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, where her Italian roots trace back to her great-grandparents, who immigrated to America from Italy as children. With over 20 years in the home design industry, Jamie has built a career dedicated to helping families create homes filled with beauty, comfort, and function.

Together with her husband Rick, she proudly owns and operates Blinds by Valeri, a family business built on passion, hard work, and personalized service. Jamie’s love for design shines through in every project, as she works closely with homeowners to find the perfect window coverings for their spaces.

Beyond her work, Jamie is the proud mother of six and a joyful Nonna to three grandchildren. Family, tradition, and community are at the heart of everything she does—values that carry into every home she helps transform.

Seth

Seth grew up surrounded by the family’s passion for design, learning early on the importance of detail, quality, and craftsmanship. Raised in a home where family and hard work go hand in hand, Seth continues that tradition as part of Blinds by Valeri, bringing precision and care when assisting with professional measuring and client projects.

Outside of the family business, Seth is pursuing his dreams on the football field as a Big Ten athlete at Northwestern University. While his football schedule keeps him busy, Seth remains closely connected to the company, stepping in when time allows to support the family business.

Whether on the field or in the home, Seth carries the same values of discipline, teamwork, and dedication—a reflection of the strong family foundation he was raised in.

Isabelle

Isabelle is a Blind Designer Intern at Blinds by Valeri, bringing a fresh perspective and creative eye to the family business. With a natural sense of style and a love for design, she enjoys helping clients explore fabrics, colors, and textures that elevate their homes.

As part of the next generation of the Valeri family, Isabelle is learning the craft from the ground up—gaining hands-on experience in design consultations and product selection. Her passion for detail, paired with her enthusiasm for working with people, makes her a valued part of the team.

Isabelle is excited to continue growing in the design world while helping clients find the perfect window coverings to reflect their personal style.

Cortney

Cortney (Design Consultant) brings a friendly, down-to-earth approach to helping clients find the perfect window coverings for their homes. Married to her husband, Tim, she’s a proud mom of two teenage sons and shares her home with their two beloved dogs, Thor and Rocky.

Her caring personality and eye for design make her a natural at guiding customers through styles, colors, and functionality to create spaces that feel both beautiful and comfortable. Whether it’s a single room or a whole home, Cortney loves helping families choose window treatments that fit their lifestyle.
