Hunter Douglas® blinds
Somner® Custom Vertical Blinds
A dependable vertical blind for wide glass when privacy, coverage, and straightforward function matter most.
What makes it different
Why choose Somner® Custom Vertical Blinds?
Somner® uses vertical vanes that rotate for privacy and light control, then traverse smoothly when access to the opening matters just as much as coverage.
That makes it a strong option for patio doors, family rooms, and other larger glass areas where dependable function and a clean finished look need equal weight.

Planning access to sliding doors
Review which way the vanes should stack, the space beside the opening, and clearance around the door handle. Compare Somner® with Luminette® sheers and Skyline® panels to see which appearance and movement work best for the doorway.
In your home
Practical coverage for wide glass
Somner® works especially well when a larger opening needs dependable coverage, simple operation, and a clean finished look.
Simple privacy control
Makes it easy to shift between filtered light and stronger privacy.
Everyday durability
Fits casual living spaces that need a practical solution without feeling temporary.
Room inspiration
Privacy for patio doors and wide glass
Choose the stack direction around the moving door panel, nearby furniture, and the view you want to preserve. Review the space occupied by the vanes when open.
Compare the selected vane material for privacy and cleaning requirements. A material that works in one room may not be the best fit beside a frequently used doorway.
